baby's first post

I'm jumping on the blog bandwagon again. Everyone I know has a Livejournal now, but I'm not going to get one. Blogger has been good to me; it is teamed up with Google; and I've always hated Livejournal anyway.

Tim turned me on to the whole LAUNCHcast thing. Now I'm hooked, trying to rate a bunch of songs and set up my station. Their whole rating system is cool. You rate songs, and then they find users who also like those songs and play you some of their other favorite songs. So I like Red Hot Chili Peppers, and LAUNCHcast plays songs that other RHCP fans have rated highly - songs like Anywhere but Here by Hilary Duff. They're still tweaking the system.
